They took the dressing off today, so I can post a photo of the actual future scar...
I guess I should have posted a photo of the dressing, but it pretty much looked like a mini-pad stapled to a bald guy's head, so... :-v
Yes, those silver things really are staples.
They have a fancy set of pliers to remove them that bends them just so to pull them out the reverse of how they went in, so the ones on the dressing felt like getting a couple hairs plucked out. I suppose these go deeper and will need a local or something, but I'll find that out next week...
Tuesday I meet with the oncologist to see what we're really dealing with, and the endgame.
